ABOUT THIS SERIES

These courses are designed to help the serious amateur who really wants to up their game. Some professional riders and coaches may also find these courses beneficial. Riders attending these courses will already have established a level of success, but may be new to biomechanics, or want to improve their seat and continue to train their horse in an ethical way to the higher levels. It is a suitable level for anyone who is already competing at Club level or above and wants to go further. Most riders on these courses would like help with very specific aspects of their training and riding.

This can be in order to move up a level, or to begin to train towards that at some time in the future. Riders who feel that a certain movement or level is difficult for them to perfect would gain a great deal out of these courses, as would those riders who are constantly hungry for a deeper level of knowledge!

If you have started to compete, and want to go further, this is the series for you!

Courses are between 2 and 4 days long, with most taking place during the week.

COURSE FORMAT

The basic format of a morning theory session followed by a private lesson and then video feedback is the same as for the Help! Series.

Demonstrations will form part of the lateral work course theory session on day two, and will also be part of the theory session on day 3 of the Dressage Boot Camp.

On the Flatwork for Jumping course the chance to put into practice what you have learned over a short course will be part of the lesson on day two, but this is optional.

Other variations on this format will be on the Moving up a Level Course and on the Dressage Boot Camp, when riders will be able to ride through a test on the final day of the course at their chosen level and have it judged, complete with feedback sheet.

If you are dying to have a go at the next level up, but some aspects of the tests are holding you back, come and learn how to train and ride your horse in a way that makes it easy to progress up through the grades.

Many riders don't have a go at the next level because they don't feel ready to tackle medium trot, collection or lateral work.

Whatever your 'bogey' movement this course will set you on your way to achieving your next goals, plus dare you dream a little further - every horse and every rider deserves to be the best they can be!
